Copyright and DMCA Policy

Factour, LLC respects the intellectual property rights of others and expects its users to do the same. Factour complies with the Digital Millennium Copyright Act (DMCA).

Users are responsible for ensuring they hold the rights to any content they upload, including property photographs. Do not upload photos or other content you do not own or have permission to use.

Reporting Copyright Infringement

If you believe content on Factour infringes your copyright, you may send a notice to our designated agent. To be effective, your notice must include the information required by the DMCA (17 U.S.C. 512(c)(3)), which generally means:

  • Your physical or electronic signature.
  • Identification of the copyrighted work you claim has been infringed.
  • Identification of the material you claim is infringing, and enough information for us to locate it (such as the listing URL).
  • Your contact information, including address, phone number, and email.
  • A statement that you have a good faith belief that the use is not authorized by the copyright owner, its agent, or the law.
  • A statement, under penalty of perjury, that the information in your notice is accurate and that you are the copyright owner or authorized to act on the owner’s behalf.

Counter-Notification

If your content was removed and you believe it was removed in error, you may submit a counter-notification to the same agent, containing the information required by the DMCA.

Repeat Infringers

Factour will, in appropriate circumstances, disable or terminate the accounts of users who are repeat infringers.
