Virtual Showings

Live Virtual Home Tours with a Licensed Agent, From Anywhere

A Factour virtual showing is a live, real-time video tour of a listed property conducted by a licensed local real estate agent. Unlike pre-recorded walkthroughs or 3D scans, you connect directly with an agent who is present at the property, asks your questions, and walks you through every room in real time.

Same transparent pricing as in-person tours. Same licensed agents. No buyer agreement required.

Process

How Virtual Showings Work

Three simple steps to see any home live, from wherever you are.

1

Post a Virtual Tour Request

Enter the property address, select 'virtual' as your tour format, and choose your preferred time. Your request is immediately visible to licensed local agents in that market. Takes under 2 minutes.

2

Review Agent Proposals

Licensed local agents submit proposals with their fee, availability, and video setup. Compare profiles, verified reviews, and prices, then choose the agent that's right for you.

3

Tour Live Over Video

Once confirmed, you receive a private video meeting link. At the scheduled time, your agent joins from inside the property and conducts a live walkthrough. You can direct the tour, ask questions, and request specific views in real time.

Use Cases

Who It's For

Virtual showings are designed for buyers who want to see a home before making the trip.

Relocating Buyers

Moving to a new city or state? Tour homes in your target market without traveling. See properties live with a local agent who knows the neighborhood.

Out-of-Market Shoppers

Interested in investment properties or second homes in another market? Virtual showings let you evaluate properties from anywhere before committing to a trip.

Busy Professionals

Can't take time off work for a midweek showing? Join a live virtual tour from your office, your car, or between meetings, on your schedule.

First-Round Screening

Narrow down your shortlist before visiting in person. Use virtual showings to eliminate properties that don't meet your criteria, then book in-person tours only for the ones that do.

Virtual Showing FAQs

What is a virtual showing on Factour?+
A virtual showing is a live, real-time video tour of a home conducted by a licensed local agent who is physically at the property. Unlike pre-recorded walkthroughs or 3D scans, you connect directly with the agent, ask questions, and request a closer look at any room in real time. Virtual showings are priced like in-person tours: the agent sets a fee of at least $15, you pay a flat $10 Factour platform fee on top, and a temporary authorization is placed before the tour when possible. Capture occurs after the final property ends and the 30-minute review window closes.
How does a virtual showing work on Factour?+
Enter the property address of any home, MLS-listed or for sale by owner, and select virtual as your tour format. Licensed local agents submit proposals, you accept one, and you receive a private video meeting link before your appointment. At the scheduled time, the agent joins from inside the property and conducts a live walkthrough over video. You direct the tour, ask questions, and request specific views in real time.
Can I book a virtual showing for a property in another city?+
Yes. Virtual showings are designed for buyers who want to see a home before traveling, including buyers relocating from another city or state. Enter the property address, and licensed agents in that local market submit proposals. You get a live, agent-led walkthrough by video from wherever you are. If you decide to proceed, you can book a follow-up in-person tour through the same platform.
Can I get a virtual showing of a for sale by owner home?+
If the owner lists on Factour and offers owner-hosted showings, you book with them directly. Live agent-hosted virtual showings are a paid option you can request on any home, MLS-listed or for sale by owner, when you want a licensed professional walking the property on video for you.
Do I need to sign a buyer's agreement to use Factour?+
Not for a free owner-hosted showing, which involves no agent and no agreement. If you hire a licensed agent for a tour, a written single-tour agreement is formed for that one showing only, scoped to one property and one appointment. There is no long-term buyer representation agreement.
Are there any fees charged to consumers?+
Owner-hosted showings are free. If you hire a licensed agent for a professional tour, you pay the agent's fee plus a $10.00 Factour platform fee, both shown before you confirm. The agent's tour fee is at least $15.00, so the total shown at booking is at least $25.00. There are no subscription or membership fees.
